“Metaverse Migration”

“Metaverse Migration” depicts the onboarding of influencer communities into the decentralized blockchain and non-fungible tokens (nft) communities. “Metaverse Migration” is part of “The Game of Life” collection and the Doge Dog and Panda characters in this work reference the many profile picture projects in the nft space. The Chess Pieces, lucky rabbit, and 20 sided die are representatives of the strategy and chance within the nft space.

The figure opening the green door was inspired by Gary Vaynerchuk bringing his community into the space, and the orange figure is inspired by Alex Becker and his followers. Likewise, the figure opening the blue door was inspired by Tom Bilyeu shepherding his community into nfts.

“Metaverse Migration” was created specifically for the 2021 Art Basel Miami Beach is a celebration of NFT based exhibitions during 2021 Miami Art Week and Art Basel Miami. This piece will be exhibited as an AR NFT outside of the 2021 NFT BZL at the FTX Arena FTX Arena in Miami.
